Creating various ways to hear from our students and their concerns is key to an inclusive community. Resolution tickets were used to restore any misunderstandings between peers or between peers and adults. These tickets would give enough information for me to set up a time to meet with the two students or student and teacher in order to help repair their relation ship. This was never considered punitive and was a preventative measure before situations could potentially escalate. Students would drop tickets off in the office and into the resolution box. This could also be classroom specific. I would suggest having a parter classroom where the resolution box would be located. this creates more of an anonymity with students that are shy or want to submit their ticket privately.
